In summer 2010, Haiou Zhang has founded the summer music festival together with Dieter Klar and Michael Hofmann in Buxtehude, a small beaufitul town with full of romantism, which is located next to the world city Hamburg. The philosophy of festival is simply bringing great classical music closer to the younger generation, supporting talented promising young artists and creating outstanding artistic ideas for the future.
受德国Buxtehude市及地区邀请，钢琴家张海鸥，与德国知名导演Dieter Klar先生，及杰出企业家Michael Hofmann先生一同创立了张海鸥国际音乐艺术节。 艺术节的理念致力于大力推广古典音乐，吸引年轻的听众群，为才华横溢的青年艺术家们提供最佳的表演舞台。第一届艺术节在2010年取得了很大成功，反响强烈，已成为该地区不可替代的重要文化盛事。第二届音乐节将在2011年夏天拉开帷幕。远期的艺术节策划将邀请获格莱美音乐奖 - GRAMMY Award 提名的德国曼海姆莫扎特乐团及ARD慕尼黑国际音乐比赛金奖得主浮士德四重奏等著名艺术团体参演。
